Maccaferri Macbag is a geotextile, fabricated into a bag form filled with sand (sometimes also know as sand bag) of which is used commonly for hydraulic protection work. MacBag are produced from either woven or non woven polypropylene geotextile or non woven polyester geotextile depending on the durability requirement of the structure and the site condition. Since Macbag is prefabricated in factory, the sizes of the bag can be designed to enable machineries to lift the bag for installation. The followings are the advantage of Maccaferri MacBag for marine application:
