Today more than ever, water resources are exploited for the name "development". The ability to maintain or restore natural equilibrium that has been or might be altered by urban development has become increasingly demanding and challenging.

Hydraulic restoration must face the need to control the water course, modifying it in a "useful way" that is limiting its natural trend to change direction, flow and profile to safeguard infrastructures and urban areas.

Knowing and safeguarding the complex equilibrium between land and water is the main principle of our work.

Channel Protection

Reno Mattress (Click Here)
Reno mattress is a structure made of 8x10 hexagonal double twisted steel woven wire mesh. Reno mattresses are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control.

Coastal Protection

MacTube (Click Here)
MacTube utilize a high-strength synthetic fabric as a form for casting units by filling with sand or mortar. The MacTubes are made of a combination of tubes of various diameters and length, which can be used as groynes, breakwaters or seawalls in coast-protection plans.

MacBag (Click Here)
MacBag utilize a Nonwoven Polypropylene synthetic fabric as a form for casting units by filling with sand or mortar. These are suitable for slope protection or toe protection. Besides, the main application is the construction of groynes, perched beaches and offshore breakwaters.

MacTex Woven Geotextile (Click Here)
MacTex® WR Geotextiles are planar woven structures manufactured by weaving in warp and weft directions high tenacity polyester yarns.

MacTex Non Woven Geotextile (Click Here)
Maccaferri MacTex® Geotextiles are mechanically bonded nonwovens from 100% ultra violet stabilized Polyester. They are characterized by a high resistance to installation damage, high water permeability, resistance to ultra-violet degradation and to biological & chemical environments normally found in soils.
